IMPORT OF CAPITAL GOODS BY EXPORT ORIENTED UNITS:

  


                        Export oriented units set up with the approval of the Development Commissioner of the concerned Export Processing Zone can import capital goods at zero customs duty with the specific approval of the concerned Development Commissioner.

IMPORT OF INPUTS AND OTHER ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Normal export units can import their required inputs under any of the following schemes:

Ø       Advance Licensing Scheme

Ø       Duty Free Replenishment Certificate

Ø       Export Oriented Unit Scheme

Ø       Special Economic Zone Scheme

OR

They can utilize any of the following incentives:

Ø       Duty Drawback receivable in cash

Ø       Duty Entitlement Passbook Scheme
